Newspaper Reports

Class 6 have been learning about journalistic writing during their literacy lessons. Here are some of their reports celebrating the 100th meeting of the school council.  Adam wrote….

On the 17th March2011, Holy Apostles C of E (A) Primary School, Cheltenham, celebrated their 100th school council meeting. It started at 9am and lasted till 3pm,every class celebrated in their own way.

At 2pm the school cascaded onto the field in the shape of 100. The Echo was supposed to come and take photos of the great event, but were tragically caught up in race traffic. Heroic Mr. Davies took the pictures instead with his trusty camera. Philip,8, year4, said: “It was a shame that the Echo couldn’t come but I still had a great day, I think this event should go down in history!”

Mr. Davis, Proud headmaster said: “ Today was an amazing event and I hope the Echo will be able to come to the 200th meeting!”
