On Thursday 17th March 2011, Holy Apostles, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, celebrated their 100th school council meeting by every class doing something that relates to 100. After, the whole school gathered onto the field to stand in the shape of 100! The classes had good fun doing:

Reception: Made a big cake and shared it around their class.

Year 1: Made cakes

Year 2: Made flapjacks and did 100 star jumps.

Year 3: Made cakes

Year 4: Made cakes

Year 5: Made cakes and did 100 football penalties against their teacher Mr Hayden.

Year 6: Did a scavenger hunt.

Harry, 11,said: ”It was a very successful because everyone had a good time doing activities and they especially enjoyed eating their cake!!” Unfortunately, the Echo couldn’t make it to the school because of the race traffic so The Head Master , Gareth Davies, bravely climbed onto the roof and took brilliant pictures from his camera.

The children of Holy Apostles really enjoyed the day and hope that it will reach the 200th school council meeting!!!
